Warranty

At Artscape, our warranty service philosophy is to take customer service very seriously.  It is our goal to honor our agreements.  We work very hard in making sure that proper expectations are set.  Our hope is that each step of the design and installation process is a rewarding experience for everyone involved.  That is why each job includes a comprehensive warranty.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your concrete curbing or landscaping.  We will schedule to have one of our Customer Service Representatives speak to you to address any of your questions or concerns.

1.   Your curbing has a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.  It will be replaced at no charge if the defect is caused by the materials we use or the way it was installed by our workmen.  Any cracks that occur after the curb has encountered winter will not be covered.  Midwest Winters can be harsh and any cracks are not to be confused with defects in workmanship.

2.   Immediately after the initial installation, if it was determined that the curbing was damaged and was not a part of the Artscape workmanship/installation, we will come back and make any necessary repairs.  However, there is a $250.00 minimum charge for this service.

 3.  Please note that our warranty does not cover tree rings.  Trees are constantly growing and exposing roots.  Some rings will never be affected, but it clearly is too difficult to determine.

4.  Any cracking in the curbing due to settlement of the ground is not covered.

5.  Cracking or breakage occurring due to driving over the curb with any vehicles, equipment, or foot traffic is not covered.

6. Damage to unmarked sprinkler lines, telephone wires, and other buried items by our equipment or personnel is not the responsibility of Artscape.  It is the client’s responsibility to point these out to curbing installers.  Our installers will meet with the client prior to installation of the curbing to mark any sprinkler heads, buried wires or cables.  We will mark these with a flag or spray paint them.  Our installers use extreme caution in avoiding any marked areas.  If a marked sprinkler head is “clipped” by our machine we will replace it free of charge.

7.  Damage to sprinkler lines, telephone wires, and other buried items by our equipment or personnel is not our responsibility.
